It depends on the company you are in, the type of work is different depending on your company job description
If you are starting with SME. here is the list of tasks you need to do

☑️Manage team (designer, programmer, customer support)
☑️Demo prototype
☑️Adjustment during development
☑️Delivery training
☑️Adjustment after delivery
☑️Manage after delivery task
if your company do not have a salesperson, so you actually are partially a salesperson and if your company do not have a wireframe person, you might need to do the wireframe (sketch of the system UI before giving it to the designer)
Since I started involved in system development, I've done all the above. especially on the wireframe.
As I am a digital database specialist, one of my services is to create a system using Microsoft excel or google applications. The concept of work is the same, literally, I did everything except the programming and designing UIUX because I do not involve programming in the system.
